What we say
Popular video bar and dance club
Located at heart of the Gay French Quarter, Bourbon Pub is one of the most popular bars in the city. Music videos play on the screens for a mostly younger crowd. Upstairs Parade Disco opens most nights and for Tea dance on Sundays.

We had fun here! We got in before they started charging cover and had a few drinks but when they started to charge cover the drink prices went up and were too high. The music upstairs on the dance floor was pretty good and the balcony is a great please to hang out and people watch.
One of the dancers had a HOT body and was showing off quite a package but the other wasn't attractive at all.

First of all , we were there for Southern Decadence.. and it was a great experience....Most of the bars were jammed packed with nary a place to move... Good and at the same time a bit tacky.. The problem with some of the clubs, is that the dance floor is so small, that you just about can't dance... Not that was ever a problem.. but the crowd didn't seem cohesive... People on cell phones all over the place...and using that small space as just a walk through... Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of fun... but if pushing and shoving.. and extreme heat is your bag, then you'll love this place... If you want a but tamer experience... then this is not the place to go.. We went back about 3 times in one night.. and it was all the same...decided to go to the bath house to ( if you can believe it) relax ...

This place always has the best gogo boys that are handsome and muscular. It is extremely busy every time I have been here. The guys do not pressure you for a tip. They get off on showing their bodies.

Just returned from my fourth vacation in NOLA, the only one that wasn't during Mardi Gras or Southern Decadance. In previous visits, I could barely enter this place because of the holiday crowds. This time I was able to enjoy it in the middle of the day as well as busy evenings. Friendly staff (shout out to our favorite bartender, Lawrence), nice crowd of all types, and cute go-go boys who don't hassle you for tips. My favorite bar in New Orleans.
