It’s clean, fun, and a little off the beaten path. Stop by on weekend nights for some of the French Quarter’s best drag shows, during the day to enjoy the sunshine on the Quarter’s only gay bar Patio, or just anytime to enjoy a drink, shoot some pool or play on our slot machines. With a TouchTunes jukebox (that you can even access from your cell phone), you and yours can get in on the fun and help change up the music.

Michael is always a smiling and friendly face
This location has become a great show bar with 2 to 4 shows a week and a favorite bar of many of the Gay Mardi Gras Krewes. A major sponsor of the Gay Easter Parade, Michael's is always the starting point for gathering to greet everyone and enjoy Michael's wonderful buffet. I can't say enough good things about Michael's.

    friendly bar
***there have been some major changes in the last year, in fact it was closed, waiting to reopen under new management. I am not so keen on the "new" club situation but time will tell**** Both the clientelle and the staff are for the most part friendly. The drag queens are a delight socially. I joined a couple of them on a side trip to another bar...in their car, just like old friends. I feel at home here. (this bar is now closed, scheduled to re-open under new management, but time will tell)

Without Loretta, it would have been a total bust!
We went to see a specific "Lady" from Alabama perform and she was great (as were most of the other Ladies) but the place is such a dump! There was a large group of us and when we all ordered drinks at the same time, it overwhelmed the bartender and we didn't get any... Very disappointed in the service.
