The 4th Annual New Orleans Daiquiri Festival will take place at 548 Marigny Street (Marigny & Decatur) in New Orleans on Saturday & Sunday, July 26 & 27, 2014, 11am - 8pm.
Over two days, the festival will feature 11 performing artists, including the Grammy nominated The Hot 8 Brass Band, The Original Pinettes Brass Band (presented by Red Bull Music Academy), Tank and the Bangas, The Honorable South, Cardinal Sons, Micah McKee & Little Maker, MadFro, YUGEN , Quincy Mumford and the Reason Why, Rhymeschemepatternz, and ian a. In addition to adding a full lineup of performances and a second day to the festival, the 4th Annual New Orleans Daiquiri Festival will also feature family activities, a make-your-own snowball stand, gourmet food trucks, cold beer, cocktails, and a full range of daiquiri flavors. All ages are welcome at this year’s festival. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A percentage of proceeds from this year’s festival will go toward litter and waste reduction efforts in Faubourg Marigny. At the festival, OHNO Co. will also be introducing The Green Go-Cup Inititiave: a community campaign to keep go-cups in people’s hands and off the ground.
Other features of the 4th Annual New Orleans Daiquiri Festival include raffle prizes from daiquiri shops and other local businesses, local art and merchandise vendors, and The Disco Daiquiri Fan Store (the one-stop shop for serious daiquiri fans).
1-Day Admission Tickets may be purchased for $8.00 online and $10.00 at the door. A Weekend Pass + may be purchased for $32.00, and includes admission on both days, a festival t-shirt, a reusable Green Go-Cup, koozie, and a set of daiquiri fan stickers & buttons.
Children 12 & under get in FREE (accompanied by an adult, of course).
