Easter Sunday, April 5, will see the 16th Annual Gay Easter Parade roll through the streets of the historic French Quarter. Led by Easter Grand Marshals XVI Johnny Passion and Deja Deja-Vue', some 29 carriages, wagons and trolleys will be joined by two bands, seven walking groups and 10 vehicles, kicking off at 4:30pm sharp.

Sponsored by Ambush Magazine, the parade showcases the fashion and creativity of the entire LGBT+ community with gentlemen in summer suits/tux with hats, and ladies in Easter suits/dresses with Easter hats. The parade minus expenses benefits Food For Friends, a vital service of NO/AIDS Task Force, and for the past 13 years, the parade has raised over $202,414 for charity.
All parade entries must have been registered by March 20, and checkin is Sunday, April 5 with Gay Easter Parade's Steve Patrick inside at GrandPre's, 834. N. Rampart, between 2:30-3:45pm for the Pre-Parade Party and Checkin/Lineup. All carriages, wagons and trolleys will be boarded between 3:45 and 4:20pm, followed by vehicles and walking groups. Parade rolls at 4:30pm sharp. The Post-Parade Party and Buffet will begin at 6pm at GrandPre's.
