Shakespeare and the Alchemy of Gender

Internationally renowned actor Lisa Wolpe has arguably played more of the Bard’s male roles than any woman in history. Fresh off an international tour, she brings her dynamic solo show to New Orleans. From cross-gender exploration to the unforgettable story of her life, Lisa triumphantly illustrates that Shakespeare’s insight into the human condition is as relevant as ever. There are only three performances, so get your tickets early! A talkback with Lisa will follow each performance. Friday May 20 at 7:30p Saturday May 21 at 7:30p Sunday May 22 at 1:30p More details on Lisa here: http://lisawolpe.com More details on the show here: http://neworleansshakespeare.org/shakespeare-and-the-alchemy-of-gender/
