Soak up the sights and sounds at the 7th annual Scales & Ales event with wine and beer from open bars and delicious cuisine from more than 40 local restaurants. Live entertainment and a unique aquatic atmosphere are highlights of the event as it flows throughout the Aquarium and onto the plaza overlooking the Mississippi River. A: Bring your PRINTED TICKET to the event for admittance. Cell phone scanning will delay your entry into the event. Q: What should I wear? A: The Dress Code for the evening is dressy casual. Q: Are food and drink included in my ticket price? A: Yes! We are proud to feature house bars with Abita beer, wine, soft drinks and water and more than 40 restaurants and specialty cocktails bars at Scales & Ales. Q: Where can I park? A: Discounted parking will be available at the Canal Place Parking Garage. Validation will be available at the Scales & Ales entrance and exit. Limited number. Available on a first come, first serve basis. Q: Where do we enter the party? A: The entrance to Scales & Ales is at the Canal Street end of the Aquarium. We will not be able to permit guests at the Entergy Giant Screen Theater end of the building. Q: Will we be able to see animals in the Aquarium? A: Of course! The entire Aquarium is open during Scales & Ales.
