Folk Art Festival - Algiers, NOLA

Join the Algiers Folk Art Zone & Blues Museum for its fifth annual Algiers Folk Art Festival. A showcase of regional folk art, the FREE event will feature artists’ tents, live musical entertainment, food-truck concessions, and kids’ activities. Musical performers include legendary blues guitarist Little Freddie King, zydeco/blues musician Bruce Sunpie Barnes, McGregor, Bob Green, and kids music by the Confetti Park Players. Among the artists featured are Charles Gillam,Sr., Karen LaBeau, Andrew Hopkins, Dianne Baquet, Beatrix Bell, Jennifer Blanchard of Nola Pottery, Eddie Gillam, Jeannie Tidy, Paul “Jaw Bone” Douroux Jr., Devin Dewulf, Steve Seneca, Chris Grisaffe, Destiny Fields, Vincent Hall, Kristen Arnold and Cely Pedescleaux.
