Day of the Dead Altar

Artist Cynthia Ramirez will build a traditional Day of the Dead Alter dedicated to Allen Toussaint. An American musician, songwriter, record producer and one of the most influential figures in New Orleans R&B, Mr. Toussaint died November 10, 2016. The alter will be up from Wednesday, October 5 through Monday, November 7. Each year, the Ogden Museum celebrates Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), presenting an authentic altar, workshops, and a community celebration during Ogden After Hours.
