The O What a Night! Gala is the Ogden Museum’s annual fundraiser. A celebration of the American South, the O What a Night! Gala is one of the premier events in the region.
The gala weekend begins with a Patron Party on Thursday night, which is held at a different private residence each year, and is generously sponsored by IBERIABANK. The party will be catered for the third year in a row by Chef Justin Devillier of La Petite Grocery and Balise.
On Saturday night, the Gala begins with a large silent auction in the Patrick F. Taylor Library, where guests arrive, mingle and bid while partaking in cocktails and appetizers by Chef Devillier. Moving from the Taylor library into the Gala tent, guests will enjoy musical and artistic surprises before being seated for a dinner by Mitch Arens, Executive Chef of Calcasieu, the private dining facility of Link Restaurant Group and a live auction, with major works of art by important Southern artists.
The 2016 O What a Night! Gala is chaired by Tracy Copeland and Tommy Westervelt.
Our 2016 O What a Night! Gala honoree is Mrs. Fran Villere.
