Inn on St Peter

(5 Ratings)
Quaint & quiet hospitality
A quieter part of the French Quarter, but still within walking distance of the sights and sounds of the Big Easy. One of the French Quarter Guest Houses three inns off of N Rampart St.

Forget about it

Bad enough that this place is a dump (even for the FQ), but the rudeness of the staff is what pushes it off the list for me. Save your $$ and sleep in the park.

No, No!!!

I stayed here in 2008, and found the male staff to be almost universally surly and unpleasant even being rude to a friend trying to connect with me. --and I mean just by phone to arrange to meet to go out and party...NOT a sexual hook up. The women that worked there were nice and friendly, but one never knew when they would be on duty. Not a positive experience for me....the electricity went out, the staff was surly, and I swore I would NEVER stay here again.

The room I had was furnished strangly. Armoire only,no closet. The bed had a headboard was part of a Mallard bed I own. The rest of it was pieced together with god knows what. You do have privacy.

Super service. GREAT prices and Fantastic location

I loved this hotel it was within stumbling distance from Bourbon and there is a fantastic bar across the street that will put on a mini drag show just for you for your birthday. The staff was super friendly. I didn't have any complaints about the room except that room 49 is the smallest room they have REALLY SMALL! I will be staying there again this weekend for my 23rd birthday!

What am I paying for?

For the price, this place is terrible. Our room was dirty with peeling paint and mildew around the tub. The sink was cracked and the toilet was loose. The corridor leading to the court yard stunk like a skunk! The ONLY positive is location. It's two blocks from Bourbon St.
