Early Saturday evening (Aug 30, 2008) we were wandering around the French Qtr. trying to find a place to eat (by this time a lot of the restaurants closed because of the soon to hit Gustav). We thought, well Clover Grill has to be open. We waited about 15 min. Well, let me tell you, once I smelled the bacon, I had to have breakfast. For dinner, breakfast was terrific. I'm thankful to Clover Grill for being open and how wonderful they were to those who stayed, up until the last day before Hurricane Gustav arrived. Greasy - well OK! But it was yummy.

My dad, two sisters and I stopped by Clover's last year. We were just walking around and decided to have some breakfast. We came across Clover's and decided to stop in. We loved it! It was one of the best places we went to. A must for anyone visiting New Orleans. We are planning our trip to go back to New Orleans in a couple months. We are definately stopping by Clover's.

Great Greasy Breakfasts and Lunches. Sit at the counter so you can watch the cook and the hubcaps. Don't be in a hurry. Expect attitude, but don't give it.
