Grand Isle

(3 Ratings)
Beach food, hold the sand
Grand Isle is also located at the bottom of the Harrah's parking complex. Grand Isle is actually a Louisiana beach located about two hours southwest of New Orleans. That means if you're coming here you better have a seafood craving, but don't worry -- it's really some of the best in the city.

Excellent choice for seafood

Their Shrimp Caminada Po-Boy just won the Number 1 award at the annual Po-Boy Festival. It's Vietnamese and Cajun inspired with Shrimp in a citrus butter with Cajun Kimchi Slaw on the sandwich-- lots of fresh cilantro and mint as well. A real winner. Great baked oysters too-- Falgoust, Fochon and Grand. Highly recommended.
