The perfect cafe for breakfast and lunch.

The Challah bread is excellent here. This New Orleans version of a Jewish inspired deli is naturally quite different from everywhere else. Owners Allison & Steve have succeeded in creating a Berkeley (California) kind of atmosphere in the vibe and in the gentle, laid-back clientele it attracts. My favorite dish for lunch is the Lump crab meat, Spinach and Melted Brie sandwich on Challah toast. Incredible! Open 7am to 3pm Tues. thru Sun. (Closed Mondays)
