By day and throughout much of the week, the Phoenix appears to be nothing more than a neighborhood bar. But at night, particularly weekend nights, the bar sports a down and dirty cruise atmosphere. The bartenders are very friendly. The clientele runs the gamut, from gym bunnies, bears, otters, pigs - all in pursuit of wildlife.
