The Club New Orleans (Closed Permanently)

(55 Ratings)
Modest space, immodest activities
Club New Orleans lacks the remodeled, futuristic design and size of its former New Orleans competitor Flex. But what it lacks in glitter, it makes up for in sexy patrons, personable staff, and easy-to-navigate facilities that are both clean and well-maintained.

Southern Decadence and Mardi Gras

This is the place to be. This place gets wild,, and there is always a good variety of guys. And supprisingly no attitude from the guys.

Definitely N'Awlinz

From the outside, this place looks like any of the non-public buildings in the French Quarter: a blank, not-very-welcoming wall pierced by three doorways, two of which are sealed permanently shut. The third carries a small plaque with only the name of the place on it. Step inside, and it's still archetypically New Orleans: dark, musty, slightly decadent, but with a friendly, open, helpful staff. I was there on a Wednesday night, from 10pm. The desk clerk told me there weren't many people there that night, maybe 10 or 15, but that private rooms were on half-price special, and were cheaper than lockers at that rate. The first floor has gymnasium equipment and, in the back, showers, steam, sauna and hot tub. The second floor is the smoking floor, and if you don't care for the, shall we say, aroma of stale cigarette smoke, you'll want something on a higher floor. There are a couple of small public video areas on the second floor, and from what I could see that was where all the meaningful hookups took place. The third and fourth floor (and maybe there was a fifth; I don't remember) were similar, but there seemed to be almost no one up there. There were at least twice as many people there as the desk clerk had guessed, but it didn't really matter: you know how it is, it only takes one. There was a good-looking guy in the room next to mine, but he seemed only interested in working on his laptop computer. I saw several people stop by to chat with him during the evening, but nothing more. He just typed away. I thought that was a little strange, but maybe he doesn't have internet access at home. I hooked up with a guy in one of the video rooms, then took him back to my room for a nice long session. Later met up with another guy in the video area and went to his room. Neither was porn-star quality, maybe, but both were friendly and horny and not unattractive. The clientele seemed mostly to be 30s and 40s, maybe a few 50s, and (judging from that distinct New Orleans accent) entirely local, other than me. By the time I left, around 3am, I'd had everything I'd hoped for in going. While I still wonder at the fact that, compared to my admittedly few bathhouse experiences around the US and Canada, the best places seem to be in my quirkily conservative home town of San Antonio, I think Club New Orleans would make my top ten list, even if I'd been to more than ten houses.

French Quarter Fun

My boyfriend and I spent several hours enjoying this club. The employees and guests were very nice people indeed. We went on a Monday night which was half off the price. A benefit for sure but we would have been happy at regular price. Hot, friendly, and fun guys to be sure.
