Glad it's here!

I just love Stanley... The service is top notch and the breakfast is do die for. I am a Eggs Benedict snob and just LOVE their Benedict Poor Boy (yes, they spell it out). The french bread just melts in your mouth. I cannot make a trip to New Orleans without AT LEAST one stop at Stanley. I have not tried their sister restaurant (Stella, get it?) down the street but really want to!

Great Brunch!

Brunch on Sunday mornings at Stanley's is delightful! Each marble topped table had a small vase with a few fresh flowers and on the corner in Market Square...how can the atmosphere fail? The food was good and the service was prompt.

It's a good place, in a great location

Lots of New Orleans-inspired dishes created by the chef. Great pancakes, nice, inventive lunches, cool egg dishes (like Eggs Benedict, but with Fried Oysters on the side), homemade ice cream sundaes, or scoops, sandwiches-- and they are open 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week. Friendly, youthful wait staff. Just looking out at the town's main square is such a treat in itself :-)

YUMMY! Can't wait to return

I had read about and was eager to try Stanley for several months before heading to the French Qtr, Sept. 2009. We ended up at Stanley twice for breakfast and twice for their homemade ice cream. YUMMY! Traditional New Orleans fare, but with some unique twists on a few menu items. They are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and serve breakfast all day. They are on St. Ann St. with a direct view of Jackson Square. The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. Can't wait to go back. Check out the menu on their website.
