Perfect place to take a date

It's cozy. It's romantic. The food is good. And the ambiance, too. This is the perfect place to take someone on a date. Try to make a reservation. But if you have to wait, there's an adorable little bar and courtyard.

Not romantic at all

It was my first(and definitely the last) time I went to that restaurant. We got cold walking to that place and when we got in, we realized it was as cold as outside. We ordered our food from the very limited choices on the menu. Food wasn't amazing compared to the price we paid. They were supposed to play the piano but there was no one to play, I don't know why. I didn't bother to ask, didn't wanna make a scene. Their decoration was hideous, all that dark color and dim lights make you feel like suffocating. That one and only painting on the wall was out of the place. I don't recommend the place to anyone.

ROMANTIC

Step back in time in this romantic Creole cottage with cozy patio and piano bar. Great French Creole food and staff in the Marigny.

Possibly the most romantic restaurant in the city

Feelings Cafe d'Aunoy was part of a plantation, and you can feel it in every pore of the structure. It's a piece of antiquity that is enjoyed to this day by the loyal fans of this place. Dale and Jim have had a gay following for years, as well as those who appreciate excellent French-Creole dishes served in a bygone atmosphere. The piano bar and courtyard are fun anytime, and there's a live piano player every Friday night in the bar. Favorite dishes are the Seafood Baked Eggplant, Veal D'Aunoy, and Gulf Fish Nicolas. Open for Dinner Thursday-Sunday and Sunday brunch. A Marigny gem highly cherished.
