Wow...Went a few times during Decadence and it was hit or miss, but for the most part I had a great time. This bar definitely appeals to the more leather/butch crowd. Downstairs seems to be the more general crowd, upstairs is where the men and the action are. Won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I had some great times in the Eagle upstairs. A cab ride away. Worth checking out at least once, especially during Decadence. -

Wont be going BackThe bartenter upstairs must hate his life. He was a total jerk. I went upstairs and they have a small sign no cologne. Well i was wearing cologne and he asked me if i could read. Told me to get downstairs. I wont be going back. The guys downstairs were very friendly and nice. But you dont treat paying customers that way. Thats the only gay bar i have had a problem with. Maybe they should get rid of him. -

Thought it would be moreI tried this bar on 4 different occasions, once during decadance, once on mardi gras, and just normal times. All of my visits led to disappointments. Good and Bad.. Bad first...Each visit there was always a smell like someone dumped poppers in the ventilation. The bartenders, though nice, were nothing to write home about which would be okay except for the fact that they were all will some age and insisted on being shirtless. The crowd is varied. The "regulars" are mainly trolls, but there are the occasional hotties. Now the good. Everyone is willing to talk to you or more if you want that. The drinks were strong. and the dancers have always been very good looking. Like the concept, but not my type of crowd. - more (56)
