We will be drinking and mingling in the streets with our "to go" cups in hand, as well as frolicking in the dark spaces in the bars, all the while dressed in our leather and/or gear.
The weekend's host hotel is The Olde Town Inn, and it is only 1 block from one of the great leather bars in New Orleans: The Phoenix Bar with the dimly lit Eagle upstairs. We will have the entire hotel, which is under new management and recently renovated, reserved for our leather family with room specials starting at $89 per night. There are only 36 rooms available so they will sell out fast. Our list of events is still growing, but the $75 weekend package ($100 after 9/19) will include happy hour prices at the Phoenix for the entire weekend and the following activities:
FRIDAY, 10/17:
--Registration at the Olde Town Inn from 6pm - 9pm with a cocktail party, T-shirts, and a run pin
--Rawhide 2010 will be sponsoring the party and will be providing hot dogs, chili, and fixings. NOLA PAH (Pups & Handlers) also will be with us for this party and hosting a pup mosh
--10 pm Social at the Rawhide 2010, the French Quarter's famous leather bar
SATURDAY, 10/18:
--Walking Tour of French Quarter at 11am (included with weekend pass); other sightseeing options available at additional charge
--Beer Bust party and a BBQ at the Phoenix, 2pm-5pm
--Private Party for weekend pass holders upstairs at the Eagle, 2-5pm
--Dance party with DJ at Parade Disco, 10pm- until ???
--No door charge at Rawhide 2010 for weekend pass holders
SUNDAY, 10/19:
--Brunch, 11am-1pm
--Afternoon/evening Pub Crawl in the Marigny and French Quarter (stops TBA), working up to the weekly Napkin Toss at Cafe Lafitte in Exile
