Stencil Make & Take Workshop

Have you ever wondered if you have what it takes to be a stencil artist? Do you like sharp things and spray paint? Feel the need to reject societal norms and make art that everyone will see? Stenciling is a tool used by several activist groups and governments through out history. It is known by media and advertising firms as an nexpensive tool that has a huge visual impact on 100% of the global community. This class will give you a brief yet insightful history of stenciling and other revolutionary acts of street art as seen in ancient and contemporary art. You can also gain a basic understanding of how to design, cut and spray your very own stencil. Each student will gat all supplies needed incluiding their very own X-acto Knife and supplies to make a stenciled sticker to take home.
