The Orange Couch

(2 Ratings)
The "it" coffee shop
The Orange Couch can feel more like a friend's tastefully appointed living room than a cafe. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but to really fit in you'll need a laptop.

Retro Coffee Shop with a difference

"Coolest" spot in the Marigny? Open 7am till 10pm daily. The handsome owner, San Francisco native Johnnie Sanders, moved here from San Francisco, where he owned and operated a coffee shop in the Tender-Nob (where the Tenderloin meets Nob Hill). He was taken by the warm and welcoming neighborhood of the Marigny, where he instantly felt that he wanted to be part of this community. Now, it's a success-- with entertainment some nights, readings, great coffee, snacks, ice cream-- and Vietnamese lunches offered each Friday. Great wi-fi crowd of locals and visitors. Very tech-savvy clientele-- on the younger side. Very bright and interesting people congregate here, and the offerings are delicious.
